Crooked Tide is operated by Jesse Carlson, 66081 Santa Rosa Rd, Desert Hot Springs, CA 92240. We're the data controller for information collected through crookedtide.com, map.crookedtide.com and db.crookedtide.com.

What we collect, why, and on what basis

We don't sell your data. We don't run advertising. We don't build profiles.
Your tracker progress stays on your device
Progress on the interactive map is stored in your own browser using localStorage, under the key crookedtide.progress.v1. It is never transmitted to us. We couldn't see your progress if we wanted to.
Clearing your browser data clears it. Use the Export button to keep a backup.
If cross-device sync launches, it will be opt-in, and only then would your progress reach our servers.
Who processes data on our behalf

Loading a page sends your IP address to these providers, as it does with any website. Where data leaves the UK/EEA, transfers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses.

Under UK and EU data protection law you can ask us to:
- Access a copy of your data
- Correct anything wrong
- Delete your data
- Restrict or object to processing
- Port your data to another service
- Withdraw consent at any time — this doesn't affect anything done before you withdrew it
Email hello@crookedtide.com and we'll action it within 30 days, free of charge.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled it, you can complain to your national data protection authority. In the UK that's the Information Commissioner's Office; in the EU it's your country's supervisory authority.
Children
Grand Theft Auto VI is rated for adults, and this site is intended for people aged 16 and over. We don't knowingly collect data from children under 16. If you believe a child has given us their details, email us and we'll delete them.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we'll say so on the site and update the date above.
